Welcome back! I hope you all had a good Break.

Can I please remind all parents to please wear a mask at drop off and pick up time’s.

Welcome back from half term. Could I ask all parents now it is getting colder to provide their children with warm clothes and warm coats, wellies, hats and gloves all with names in please. Our last day of term is Thursday 16th December.

Dates for your diary……

· The photographer will be at Preschool on Thursday 4 November from 9am. All children and siblings are welcome to attend as she is here all morning. We will be following all covid restrictions.

If it is not your child’s day to attend Pre-school you are able to book a time slot.

Sunday 14th November

· Remembrance Day Parade. Preschool staff, parents and children are invited to join in the Remembrance Parade around Tutbury. We are all asked to meet at the village hall at 9:45. The parade will start at 10am and goes up High Street then up to the church where the poppy wreath will be laid.

· Mini Athletics will be visiting the setting again on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th of November. Children will need to come dressed for PE for both of these days. Our first session last term was a great success and the children loved it.

· Tuesday 17th November there is a committee meeting on Zoom at 7.30pm. If you would like to join the committee, please speak to caroline.

· With the help of the Crafty Café in Tutbury we will be holding a paint a pot week commencing Monday 22nd November. We are just finalising the details and a order form will be sent out ASAP.

· Our Christmas party will be held on Monday 13th December from 10:30 am till 1.00pm. All preschool children are invited even if it is not their session. The children will not need any lunch as we will provide food and entertainment. There will be no charge for this and there will be no afternoon session. (All children will be in their own bubbles)

· This year our Christmas play will be “Whoopsie Angel”. It will be taking place on Thursday 16th December. We are not sure if it will be in person or recorded. We will make this decision near the time. We will only be open for the morning session on this day.

· Our family group Christmas party will be on Friday 17th December. (Preschool session will be closed) The party will be from 9.30 till 11.00. There will be an increase in the session price due to additional costs.

I few notes regarding Covid.

Staff will be greeting you and your child at the door with face shields on. We would appreciate if parents still wore masks. We have several children that are clinically vulnerable and are still trying to keep these children as safe as possible.


Red bubble are in room 2

Pink bubble are in room 1

Yellow bubble are in the garden room.

Red and pink will be mixed in the afternoons. However, if Staffordshire County council change our guidance the bubbles will not mix in the afternoons.
