News and Dates for your diary

Quick reminder .....

Can I remind all parents that if your child has had a sick bug they can’t return to preschool before 48 hours after they were last ill. If they have had chicken poxe your child can return to preschool 5 days after their spots appear.

We are now open from 8:30 for children whose parents are eligible to claim 30 hour funding. These parents have to both be working over 16 hours a week each or if you are a lone parent you have to work 16 hours a week. Parents have to apply for the funding on HMRC website and they will issue you with a code for you to bring into preschool.

All 3 and 4 year olds still get their 15 hours if their parents are not eligible for the 30 hours.

We also take think 2 funding which enables parents to access 15 hours free funding for 2year olds. Parents can also apply for this funding on Staffordshire county councils website.

Dates to remember....

Welcome back from your Christmas break. I hope you are all fully rested as we have a fun packed half term. Could I ask all parents now it is getting colder warm clothes and warm coats, wellies, hats and gloves all with names in please.

If your child has had a tummy bug or a sick bug please remember they can’t return to preschool until they have been clear for 48 hours. This will stop the spread of these bugs at this time of the year.

Our Christmas party disco and Nativity raised an amazing £600 pounds and this money will be going towards new toys and equipment.
